ISLAMABAD: Convener Sub-Committee of the Senate House Committee Senator Nasir Mehmood Tuesday expressed concern that despite repeated directives, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) had yet to furnish the required details of all works undertaken during the last two years.

The committee reiterated its instructions that the entire information be submitted strictly in accordance with the pro forma shared by the convener.

The sub-committee met at the Parliament House.

Senator Danesh Kumar further recommended that complete details of all works undertaken during the last two years be provided using the prescribed pro forma.

The committee directed that the required information, duly signed by the officers concerned as well as CDA director, must be submitted during the committee’s meeting scheduled in the last week of the current month.

Additional secretary interior and CDA director assured the committee that the information would be provided within the stipulated timeframe.

The committee also received a briefing on the Framework Agreement and it was informed that under the new mechanism, all repair and renovation works would be carried out using standardized materials and a uniform approach.

The framework agreement would allow for a single tendering process, enabling procurement of all required items for the entire year, thereby eliminating the need for repeated tenders for different items.
