ISLAMABAD: Appointments and transfers have been carried out across the federal bureaucracy.
Captain (retd) Muhammad Mahmood, Chief Executive Officer of Jinnah Medical Complex and Research Centre Islamabad and a Grade 21 officer of the Pakistan Administrative Service, has been assigned the current charge of Secretary, Ministry of Housing and Works. This assignment will remain in effect for three months or until the appointment of a regular secretary.
Irfanullah Khan, a Grade 20 officer of the Police Service serving in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government, has been transferred and posted to the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency. Malik Ashfaq Khan, OSD, Grade 19, Secretariat Group, has been appointed as Deputy Secretary, Finance Division.
Deputy Secretary, Ministry of Education, Asma Ahmed, has been transferred, and her services have been placed at the disposal of the Federal Directorate of Education, Islamabad. National Talent Pool Director Asad Akhtar Abbas has been appointed Deputy Secretary, Ministry of Education, on deputation for a period of three years.
Dr. Seerat Hameed, a woman medical officer of the Sindh government, has been transferred and posted as a medical officer in the District Health Office, Islamabad. The Establishment Division has issued notifications of these transfers.
