Hearing in PTI founder’s pleas adjourned

RAWALPINDI: The Special Anti-terrorism Court in Rawalpindi has adjourned the hearing of bail applications in seven cases against PTI founder Imran Khan till December 16 due to lawyers’ strike.

The court also adjourned the hearing of an application filed for the formation of a board for the medical examination of the former PTI chairman.

During the hearing on Saturday, Imran’s lawyer Faisal Malik as well as Special Prosecutor Zaheer Shah were present. The court was informed that the Punjab Bar Council has called for a strike against the murder of two senior lawyers in Punjab and today is the sixth day of the strike, on which the court adjourned the hearing.
