ISLAMABAD: A series of transfers and postings have been made across the federal bureaucracy, with the Establishment Division issuing formal notifications on Thursday.
The prime minister has approved the appointment of Lt Col Zahid Hussain as Director Legal, Ministry of Defence, on a secondment basis. He replaces Lt Col Kafeel Khan, who previously held the position.
Meanwhile, Sajid Khan, a Grade-18 officer of the Pakistan Customs Service currently serving as Additional Directing Staff at the National Institute of Public Administration (NIPA), has been transferred, and his services have been repatriated to the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), Islamabad.
The services of DSP Ehsanul Haq, a Grade-17 officer of the Azad Kashmir Police serving at the National Police Academy, have been returned to the government of AJK. The Punjab Provincial Management Service (PMS) officer Almas Sabih, Grade-17, has been posted to the Federal Government Employees Housing Authority (FGEHA), Islamabad, on deputation for three years. Similarly, Tauseef Tariq of the Azad Kashmir Education Department has been appointed as Lecturer in the Federal Directorate of Education (FDE), Islamabad, also on a three-year deputation.
In addition, Shahnawaz Bherio, Senior Data Processing Officer from the Sindh Government, has been posted as Assistant Director, Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP), on deputation.
