Islamabad:Federal Secretary for the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training Nadeem Mahbub visited the Omer-e-Rawan (OeR) Wellness Centre at Islamabad College for Girls (ICG), F-6/2.

Omer-e-Rawan Foundation has established the wellness centre to provide early intervention, accessible care, and emotional support to students and educators.CEO OeR Air Marshal (r) Aamir Masood, Dr. Iram Aamir and members of the OeR team briefed the secretary on the purpose of the centre, the services it is offering, and the plans for further development.

Mr. Mahbub appreciated the efforts of the OeR Foundation and the ICG administration in setting up the centre and prioritising students’ mental and physical well-being.He noted that such initiatives play an important role in strengthening the overall learning environment in public sector institutions.

The secretary directed FDE to chalk out the plan for further expansion of the health and wellness initiative for public school students.He also gave valuable suggestions to the Omer-e-Rawan Team and FDE officials regarding awareness and for effective engagement of childrens.
