Islamabad:Islamabad’s M-Tag registration has reached 41,512 vehicles since November 14, with 3,201 tags issued in a single day, as the district administration urged motorists to visit any of the 12 service points without delay.

Islamabad’s district administration says the ongoing M-Tag registration campaign is moving steadily, with thousands of motorists visiting service points each day to complete the process. According to official data, 41,512 vehicles have been issued M-Tags so far.

The administration reported that 3,201 vehicles were registered in the most recent 24-hour period alone, reflecting strong public response to the drive.

To facilitate residents, the administration has established 12 service points across the city. These centres are spread over key areas to ensure easy access for motorists, reducing wait times and helping citizens complete their registration without difficulty.

Officials said the purpose of expanding service points is to ensure that people do not face unnecessary delays, especially as the number of applicants continues to grow. These centres remain operational throughout the day to accommodate increasing demand. The administration has urged motorists to visit the nearest service point at the earliest opportunity.

Timely registration, it said, will help vehicle owners avoid any legal issues or penalties that may arise for non-compliance. Authorities emphasized that the M-Tag process takes only a short time and that staff at service points are assisting applicants with the steps required to complete the procedure.
