KARACHI: Airblue has launched a new international route connecting Islamabad to Dammam, adding a bi-weekly service every Thursday and Saturday. The airline aims to give travellers a more convenient link between Pakistan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, a corridor with strong business and expatriate demand.

The inaugural ceremony was held at Islamabad International Airport and attended by senior Airblue officials, airport representatives, and invited guests.

Muhammad Shafique, director commercial at Airblue, said the new service responds to rising travel needs between the two countries. He added that Dammam is an important destination for both business travellers and Pakistani workers, and the airline is focused on maintaining reliable service across its expanding network.

The new route strengthens Airblue’s international presence, supported by modern aircraft and a focus on comfort and customer-centred service.
