PESHAWAR: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan has directed the party’s Accountability Committee to submit a report on the performance of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa ministers and utilization of funds by May, sources told Geo News on Wednesday.
“The PTI Accountability Committee has begun summoning cabinet members after the party founder’s directive to assess their performance and fund utilization,” a party source told Geo News.
When contacted, PTI Accountability Committee member Qazi Anwar Advocate confirmed the development. “We have been instructed to submit the performance report of cabinet members in the first week of May,” he said. He added that all ministers, advisers and assistants would present their reports to the committee, detailing their use of funds.
“This process will be completed in May, and the report will be submitted to the PTI founder,” Qazi Anwar stated. He revealed that Food Minister Muhammad Zahir Shah had already submitted his performance report a day earlier.
