he tomb of Asif Jah is undergoing restoration work led by the Walled City of Lahore Authority. This 17th-Century Mughal-era building is dedicated to Mirza Abul Hassan, titled Asif Jah, the brother of Nur Jehan and father of Mumtaz Mahal. Situated in the Shahdara Bagh complex, adjacent to the tomb of Emperor Jahangir, the mausoleum is built entirely of brick. It was known once for its white marble and intricate tile work.
