The Sindh government declared December 27 as a public holiday on the occasion of the 18th anniversary of former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto.

The notification issued by the Services, General Administration and Coordination Department stated that all offices, autonomous, semi-autonomous bodies, corporations, and local councils are under the administrative control of the Government of Sindh, except the essential services, which will remain closed on the day.

The upcoming week will also have another public holiday, as December 25 (Thursday) marks the birth anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah. His birthday also coincides with Christmas.
