Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese tied the knot with Jodie Haydon in a private ceremony held in his office.

In a video, the 62-year-old Albanese, dressed in an MJ Bale-designed suit and beaming with happiness, arrived in the garden of the PM's office alongside his bride, Haydon, who wore a stunning long-sleeved embellished gown by renowned Sydney designer Roman Was Born.

The couple was welcomed under the blue skies by several guests, including family members and officials.

Albanese’s dog, a shaggy cavoodle named Toto, was the ring bearer while Haydon’s brother, Patrick Haydon, and Albanese’s cousin Helen Golden were witnesses in the ceremony.

After the ceremony, where guests drank beer from a Sydney brewery, the couple walked down the aisle to Stevie Wonder’s "Signed, Sealed, Delivered (I’m Yours)."

The newlyweds are on a five-day honeymoon in Australia from Monday.

This delighted ceremony took place more than a year after the Australian premier proposed to his girlfriend on Valentine’s Day 2024, saying at the time he had found a partner "who I want to spend the rest of my life with".

Albanese planned the proposal date, location, and even designed a custom diamond ring by Cerrone Jewellers in his electorate, Leichhardt.

The prime minister — who divorced his previous wife in 2019 and has an adult son, Nathan — met Haydon more than five years ago at a Melbourne business dinner.

Ahead of the wedding, the couple had to face rumors over their relationship status. In October, they spent a week together at the island of Palau in Micronesia.

Albanese's soulmate, who was an executive for Teacher Mutual Bank, said her husband was remained supportive in her high-profile role.
