Miss Jamaica Dr Gabrielle Henry, who had tripped and brutally fallen from the stage during the ramp walk in the Miss Universe pageant 2025 in Thailand on November 19, has still not been released from the hospital.
The latest update on her health indicated that she was not facing life-threatening injuries, although she is still being treated in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
Citing her family, Channel News Asia reported that Dr Henry’s recovery is slower than expected, and doctors recommend she remain in the ICU for a week for close monitoring and special care.
The 28-year-old contestant fell off during the show, and she was immediately transported to the hospital.
In later social media posts, the pageant was removed from the stretcher and transported to the hospital, where it was confirmed that she had not been suffering from any life-threatening injuries.
Subsequently, Raul Rocha, the owner of the contest, shared her health condition on his Instagram, saying: “Thankfully, there are no broken bones and she is under good care.”
