ISLAMABAD: The Establishment Division has invited nominations of BS-18 or equivalent officers for the 48th Mid-Career Management Course (MCMC), scheduled to be held from November 23 to January 29, 2027 at the National Institute of Public Administration (NIPA) in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar and Quetta.
According to a circular issued by the Establishment Division, ministries, divisions, departments, autonomous bodies, provincial governments, Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan have been directed to forward panels of eligible officers by September 25. The Establishment Division will itself finalise nominations of officers belonging to the Pakistan Administrative Service (PAS), Police Service of Pakistan (PSP) and Office Management Group (OMG). Nominations received directly from departments or autonomous bodies will not be entertained.
For nomination, an officer must be regularly appointed in BS-18 or an equivalent grade, fall within the zone of consideration for promotion and meet the prescribed seniority criteria. Officers serving on deputation with international organisations, those posted at foreign missions other than officers of the Foreign Service, and those on long leave or extraordinary leave (EOL) will not be eligible for nomination.
However, officers against whom departmental proceedings have remained pending for more than one year may also be nominated. The course will comprise 14 weeks of fully residential training, including 10 weeks at NIPA and four weeks at specialised training institutions.
