Gold prices drop Rs4,100 per tola

KARACHI: Gold prices fell by Rs4,100 per tola on Tuesday, following a decline in international bullion rates.The All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA) said 24-karat gold dropped to Rs424,836 per tola, while the price of 10-gram gold fell Rs3,515 to Rs364,228

The prices dropped by $41 in international markets, where gold settled at $4,024 per ounce. Local prices in Pakistan are typically benchmarked to global rates with a premium of $20 per ounce.Silver rates, however, increased by Rs25 to Rs6,349. The 10-gram rate also rose by Rs22 to Rs5,443.
