Islamabad:The Islamabad High Court on Monday adjourned the hearing regarding the New Blue Area parking fee dispute until June 29, directing that the Capital Development Authority (CDA) be formally joined as a party to the legal proceedings.
The development followed an in-person appearance by Chief Officer Dr. Anam Fatima, who provided the court with detailed assistance on the operational and legal dimensions of the ongoing parking fee structure. Following the chief officer’s detailed briefing, the court refrained from issuing any adverse orders against the administration, allowing existing parking operations in the commercial district to continue without operational interruption. The case will resume late this month following the implement of the authority and the issuance of subsequent notices.
