PESHAWAR: Alkhidmat Foundation Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (Central and South) has distributed sacrificial meat among thousands of deserving persons during the three days of Eidul Azha.
According to a statement issued by the regional office of the foundation on Saturday, the sacrifices were performed throughout the three days of Eidul Azha under the foundation’s Qurbani Project 2026. The meat was distributed in an organised and dignified manner among orphans, widows, prisoners, street children, children suffering from thalassemia, members of the transgender community, and other underprivileged segments of society.
On the directives of Khalid Waqas, provincial president of the foundation, special teams were formed under the supervision of provincial general secretary Shakir Siddiqui to implement the project across the province. A central slaughterhouse was established in the provincial metropolis, where provincial vice-president Arbab Abdul Haseeb and district president Iftikhar Ahmad Khan, along with their teams, supervised and carried out sacrificial activities during all three days of Eid. Similar slaughtering facilities were also set up at district headquarters throughout the province.
