The Punjab government is currently providing an electric-bus service in Rawalpindi. In the past, there was an omnibus service at the route connecting Raja Bazar with Nilore factory/ Charah Chowk. The people hailing from the nearby villages like Charah, Chappar, Dallah, Pehont, Simli etc are now in dire need of an economical mode of public transport like the e-bus service to visit markets like Raja Bazar, Moti Bazar and City Saddar Road Bazar.
The private wagon owners charge exorbitant fares from the passengers, making an e-bus route in the aforementioned area very necessary.
