QUETTA: Pakistan Railways has suspended train services from Balochistan to upcountry for two days due to unavoidable reasons, while the Jaffar Express to Peshawar has been cancelled on May 18 and 19.
According to railway officials, the department has decided to keep train operations from Balochistan suspended temporarily owing to unavoidable circumstances. As a result, the Jaffar Express departing from Quetta to Peshawar will remain cancelled on May 18 and 19.
Meanwhile, the Jaffar Express travelling from Peshawar to Quetta will operate only up to Jacobabad for the same two days, and the train will be sent back from Jacobabad instead of proceeding to Quetta.
Railway authorities said that the Bolan Mail from Quetta to Karachi and the Chaman Passenger train service to Chaman are already suspended.
