KARACHI: Gold prices increased by Rs4,100 per tola on Tuesday in the local market following an increase in the international market.
The All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association stated that 24-karat gold rates reached Rs492,462 per tola. Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold rose by Rs3,515 to Rs422,206. Gold rates increased by $41 to $4,701 per ounce in the international market.
Typically, gold prices in the local market are adjusted by a premium of $20 against rates in the international market.Silver rates increased by Rs395 to Rs8,908 per tola. Similarly, 10-gram silver rates also rose by Rs339 to Rs7,637.
