KARACHI: Chery Master Pakistan is evaluating the introduction of up to three new models in Pakistan, including the Tiggo 4 HEV, QQ BEV and Tiggo V, as it expands its focus on hybrid and electric mobility.

The plans follow the company’s participation at Auto China 2026, where it reviewed Chery Automobile’s global product and technology roadmap.Chery Master Pakistan, introduced locally by Master Auto Engineering, said the move aligns with Chery’s broader strategy to launch 13 new models globally over the next two years across petrol, hybrid and electric vehicle categories.

Chief Executive Officer Samir Malik said the company was assessing products suited to local driving conditions and changing consumer demand.Among the vehicles displayed at Auto China 2026 was the QQ BEV, a compact electric vehicle with a claimed range of up to 410 kilometres, targeting urban commuters. The Tiggo V concept combines SUV and utility features, while the Tiggo 4 HEV is aimed at the compact hybrid SUV segment.

The company said hybrid vehicles could see higher demand in Pakistan due to fuel economy concerns and limited charging infrastructure for fully electric vehicles.
