PARACHINAR: Teachers, students, and local residents staged a protest outside the Parachinar Press Club on Monday to mark the third anniversary of the Teri Mangal school tragedy.

Addressing the protesters outside the Kurram Press Club, Schools Officers Association President Gul Ali, All Teachers Association President Sabir Hussain, Headmasters Union President Munir Hussain, tribal elder Inayat Lala, and Haji Younas said that on May 4, 2023, seven people, including four teachers, were killed inside Teri Mangal School in the presence of students.

They lamented that even after three years, the victims’ families have not received justice, nor have public grievances been addressed.The speakers demanded the immediate arrest of the killers, reopening of the Thall-Parachinar Road and ensuring security for educational institutions.
