KARACHI: Indus Motor Company (IMC) has ranked among the top Toyota Motor Asia manufacturing affiliates in the Asia Pacific after securing three major quality awards for the third consecutive year, said a statement on Wednesday.

The company won the Excellence Quality Award, Warranty Reduction Award and Zero Field Action Award under the Asia Production Quality Awards 2025, an annual recognition programme assessing manufacturing performance across the region.

IMC achieved a cumulative score exceeding 80 per cent against strict customer quality indicators, recorded zero field actions across all models, and reported zero defects per vehicle in the Shipping Quality Audit. It also surpassed its warranty reduction targets.

Out of nine Toyota affiliates evaluated, only six received the Excellence Quality Award, with IMC the sole Pakistani automaker on the list.Chief Executive Officer Ali Asghar Jamali said the achievement reflects the company’s continued focus on quality and strengthens its standing within Toyota’s global network.
