ISLAMABAD: A 40-member Pakistan contingent participated in the 6th Asian Beach Games Opening Ceremony march-past in Sanya (China) Wednesday.
Pakistan contingent attired in traditional Shalwar-Kameez received a resounding welcome from the crowd. Wrestler Mohammad Inam and sprinter Faiqa Riaz carried the national flag during the ceremony.
The Games will continue till 30. Pakistan will field a diverse and competitive squad comprising athletes and officials across multiple disciplines, including athletics, handball, ju-jitsu, kabaddi, triathlon and wrestling.
