COPENHAGEN: A Danish court on Monday sentenced a 30-year-old French-Danish man to six years in prison for promoting terrorism by sharing far-right materials on social media.
The man was found to have glorified terrorism by sharing far-right content on Telegram within a network on the app known as “Terrorgram”, between June 2023 and December 2024, the Glostrup district court found.
“Although the 30-year-old did not himself share Terrorgram´s publications or call for specific terrorist attacks, the court... found that it must have been clear to the 30-year-old that his sharing of propaganda material was meant to further Terrorgram´s activities,” the court said in a statement.
