Rawalpindi Board announces date for postponed Matric paper

Rawalpindi: Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Rawalpindi on Saturday announced a new date for the postponed Matriculation Urdu compulsory papers of 64 examination centres in the city.

The papers earlier scheduled for April 8, would now be held on May 2 on the directions of the Commissioner and Chairman BISE Rawalpindi said a news release issued here.

The statement said that the Urdu compulsory (Dars-e-Nizami group) paper would be conducted in the morning session, while Urdu compulsory and Geography of Pakistan papers would be held in the evening session.

All examinations would take place at the already allotted centres under the same roll numbers, it added.

Candidates and supervisory staff of the 64 examination centres have been directed to ensure their presence at their respective centres at the scheduled time on May 2.For further information, candidates might contact the Controller of Examinations on 051-5450917 or 051-5450918, or the Assistant Controller (Matric Branch) on 051-5450932, it added.
