Islamabad: Quaid-i-Azam University (QAU) and the National Commission for Human Development (NCHD), have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on educational, social, and economic development initiatives across Pakistan, with a shared commitment to improving national human development indicators, says a press release.
A central component of the MoU is the ‘Each One Teach One’ (EOTO) Initiative, launched under the Prime Minister’s Education Emergency 2024 directives. Under this initiative, QAU will provide master trainers, facilitate student engagement, and maintain learner records, while NCHD will offer course content, training support, and monitoring mechanisms.
The MoU was formally signed by Prof. Dr. Zafar Nawaz Jaspal, Vice Chancellor, Quaid-i-Azam University, and Ali Asghar, Director General, NCHD. Speaking on the occasion, the vice chancellor described the partnership as a meaningful step towards bridging the gap between academic excellence and human development.
The MoU also encompasses student internships and employment opportunities, joint research and development projects, exchange of academic publications, and the co-organization of seminars and conferences, establishing a comprehensive framework for sustained institutional collaboration.
