ISLAMABAD: The chairman of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has approved transfer and posting of 10 officers to strengthen the Special Investigation Division and ensure effective investigation of corruption cases.
These officers have been transferred from their current postings to the Special Investigation Division at NAB Headquarters, Islamabad.
According to the notification issued on Thursday, Grade-19 Additional Director Muhammad Amir Murat has been transferred from NAB Islamabad/Rawalpindi; Grade-18 Deputy Directors Saleem Ahmed Khan from NAB Balochistan, Mohsin Ali Khan from NAB Islamabad/Rawalpindi, Umair Ahmed Rader (who was already attached with a JIT in NAB Islamabad/Rawalpindi), Muhammad Mohsin Haroon (who was also serving with a JIT in NAB Islamabad/Rawalpindi), Muhammad Qasim, and Malik Muhammad Uzair Rehan (both previously attached with JITs in NAB Islamabad/Rawalpindi) have also been posted to the Special Investigation Division.
All these officers will continue to hold their current posts while performing their new responsibilities.
Grade-17 Assistant Directors Ms Bibi Arfa and Asif Liaqat have been transferred from NAB Islamabad/Rawalpindi, while Assistant Director Abdul Rehman Tayyab, who was attached with PECA in NAB Islamabad/Rawalpindi, has also been posted to the said division. The notification states all officers will be granted TA/DA and joining time in accordance with the rules.
