DAMASCUS: Catholic authorities in Damascus said Saturday that Easter celebrations in the capital would be restricted to mass following an attack on a Christian town in central Syria.
Fighting broke out Friday evening between residents of Suqaylabiyah and armed men from neighbouring villages who stormed the town, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
