LONDON: A British-Indian national who attacked Pakistan High Commission London during last year’s India-Pakistan war had his home attacked in London’s safest and most expensive district with an explosive by unknown men in Belgravia – a short walk from Buckingham Palace.

Ankit Love, Chief Patron of Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP), had his home attacked in Belgravia, London last week when there was a loud explosion after the bedroom window of the flat was hit, where Love lives with his Russian girlfriend.

Neighbours and bystanders came out on the street after the loud explosion.

Ankit Love was arrested on 27 April 2025 and charged with criminal damage to broken windows at the Pakistan High Commission in London, during the protests following an escalation of war between India and Pakistan.

Love’s close friend and neighbour Lina Packeviciute, aged 43, was found dead at her home in Belgravia on Monday, 2 March.
