MANSEHRA: Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Sardar Mohammad Yusuf on Monday said the government was taking steps to facilitate intending Haj pilgrims during their stay in Makkah and Madina.
“We are making all possible efforts to ensure that pilgrims perform their rituals with peace of mind, including providing convenient travel between Makkah and Madina through the already functional high-speed train in the Kingdom,” he added.
The minister said that the life of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was a complete code of conduct and a true guide not only for Muslims but for all of humanity.
“Our Prophet(PBUH) eradicated the notions of superiority and inferiority that had existed since the dawn of humanity, and declared truthfulness, morality and piety as the supreme standards of life,” he said while addressing first-ever Seerat-un-Nabi Conference held in the Gujjari language.
Religious scholars, lawmakers and people from different walks of life addressed the conference at the press club.“The Gujjari language is widely spoken in both rural and urban areas of Khyber Pukhtunkhwa and other parts of the country, and its recognition as one of the regional languages by the provincial assembly is a significant step,” he said.
