The group is also strengthening capabilities in AI, data centres and cybersecurity to build an integrated digital ecosystem. As part of the launch, JazzWorld appointed Aamer Ejaz as chief artificial intelligence officer, a newly created role aimed at accelerating responsible AI adoption across the organisation. Cybersecurity has also been elevated as a governance priority, with Chief Information Security Officer Qasim Shafique now reporting directly to the chief executive.
Commenting on the development, Aamir Ibrahim, CEO of JazzWorld, said the new identity reflects the company’s transformation and its ambition to advance Pakistan’s digital ecosystem through innovation in payments, online services, data infrastructure and artificial intelligence.
The company said the Jazz brand will remain the core connectivity layer of the wider JazzWorld ecosystem, with further details on the rollout of the new identity to be shared in the coming weeks.
