KARACHI: Gold prices increased by Rs3,400 per tola on Friday in the local market following an increase in international rates.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, 24-karat gold rates reached Rs469,562 per tola.
Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold rose by Rs2,915 to Rs402,273.Gold rates increased by $34 to $4,472 per ounce in the international market. Typically, gold prices in the local market are adjusted by a premium of $20 against rates in the international market.
Silver rates increased by Rs70 to Rs8,195 per tola. Similarly, 10-gram silver rates also rose by Rs60 to Rs7,025.
