Rawalpindi: Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) Director General Kinza Murtaza visited Sherpao Colony and issued special directives regarding various ongoing and proposed developmental, planning, and administrative matters.
During the visit, the DG RDA directed the Metropolitan Planning and Traffic Engineering Directorate and the Estate Management Directorate RDA to take immediate and concrete steps for the construction of a modern, multi-storey hospital equipped with latest medical facilities on the government land in the colony.
She also issued instructions for the immediate removal of encroachments.The DG also inspected site of the ‘Sunday Bazaar’ in Sherpao Colony and instructed the concerned officers to beautify the area.
Kinza reiterated that indiscriminate operations against encroachments will continue. She also appealed to the public to comply with the law, cooperate with authorities, and refrain from illegal constructions.She added that coordinated measures are being taken to protect the city’s beauty.
