TEHRAN: Ranking diplomats from Iran and Pakistan convened the third session of High Border Commission in Tehran on Sunday, reviewing border management, trade, economic and security issues, the Iranian media reported.
Pakistan’s Ambassador to Iran Muhammad Mudassir Tipu announced in a post on his X account that the 3rd session of High Border Commission (HBC) between Pakistan and Iran was held in Tehran on Sunday, December 28.
“The session was led by Syed Ali Asad Gillani, Additional Secretary (Afghanistan & West Asia) from Pakistan and Abbas Bagherpour Ardakani, Director General of International Legal Affairs of Iran,” the envoy added.
“Both the sides reviewed border, trade, economy and security matters and resolved to further deepen Pakistan-Iran bilateral cooperation. The 4th session of HBC would be held in Islamabad next year,” Mudassir Tipu stated.
