ISLAMABAD: Several transfers and postings have been made in the federal bureaucracy.
Syed Abrar Hussain, a Grade-20 officer of the Pakistan Administrative Service (PAs), serving at the Public-Private Partnership Authority, has been transferred and appointed as Director General (DG) Pakistan Environmental Protection Agency.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has approved giving additional charge of Managing Director (MD) Pakistan Television (PTV) to Federal Secretary of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Ashfaq Ahmad Khalil. Following the approval, the Establishment Division issued a notification assigning him the additional charge for three months, or until regular appointment.
Grade-19 officer of the Pakistan Audit and Accounts Service and Director Audit Works Lahore, Muhammad Amir Khan, has been transferred and appointed as Deputy DG of PASSCO.
Alam Zeb, Subject Specialist from the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Education Department, has been transferred on deputation to the Federal Directorate of Education in Islamabad.
Medical Officer Dr Arifa Sabahat of KP Health Department has been transferred on deputation for three years to the Federal General Hospital, Islamabad.
Grade-18 officer of the Information Group, Section Officer Rida Fatima, previously serving at the Ministry of National Heritage and Culture, has been transferred back to her parent department, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
The Establishment Division has issued official notifications formalising all these transfers and postings.
