LAHORE: The National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra) has made photographs of children aged 3 to 10 years mandatory on the B Form to further secure the family tree of citizens.

According to officials, fingerprints of children aged 10 to 18 will also be taken, however, photograph of children up to 3 years of age will not be required on the B Form.

A child must be registered in the union council within one month of birth in order to prevent the registration of an unrelated person in the family tree.

The B Form has been made mandatory not only in the field of education but also as an entry in hospitals for the treatment of children. Parents have been advised to prepare the B Form of their children at the earliest.
