LAHORE:The district administration has expressed its commitment to eradication of polio and has finalised all preparations for the upcoming weekly polio campaign.

In this regard, a review of the plan of action was conducted under the chair of Deputy Commissioner Syed Musa Raza here Thursday. The CEO Health and International Observers provided a briefing on the preparations for the campaign, in which a target was set to administer polio drops to 2.2 million children in Lahore for seven-day polio campaign starting from December 15.

The DC directed the polio teams to make the campaign success to achieve the target of reaching all children in every area. He praised the work of the frontline workers and urged them to consider this mission a national duty.
