Many nations across the world have experienced the rise of xenophobic nationalism and supremacism. History is full of examples of nations that adopted this tendency and destroyed themselves. The supremacist mindset of Adolf Hitler, Benito Mussolini and others caused irreparable damage to their nations.

Alarmingly, recent years have seen a revival of this tendency, with the Modi government in India being one of the most prominent examples. The rise of this ideology could intensify conflicts and many would argue that it already has. We need to urgently figure out why this is happening and how to chart an alternative course.
