KARACHI: Gold prices fell by Rs1,700 per tola on Thursday in the local market following a decline in the international market.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold dropped to Rs441,462 per tola.
Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold decreased by Rs1,457, bringing it down to Rs378,482.In the international market, gold rates fell by $17, settling at $4,191 per ounce. Local gold prices are typically adjusted with a premium of $20 over international rates.Silver prices decreased by Rs85 to Rs6,000 per tola. The price of 10-gram silver also dropped by Rs72 to Rs5,144.
