ISLAMABAD: British High Commissioner Jane Marriott on Saturday called on Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar and discussed the Pak-United Kingdom relations.
Both sides welcomed the positive momentum in bilateral ties and discussed upcoming engagements to carry this cooperation forward, the Foreign Office spokesperson said in a press release. They also exchanged views on the evolving regional situation.
Dar underscored the importance of efforts to ease tensions and reaffirmed that dialogue and diplomacy remained the only viable way forward.
