I am concerned about the rising issue of AI usage in classrooms. Not all students use it responsibly, outsourcing all effort and even thinking to this new technology. Meanwhile, their own skills and abilities remain untested and undeveloped.
We should use AI to enhance and polish our skills and develop better ideas and not to become dependent on it. We know that AI has a lot of benefits, but excessive use of anything is harmful. Use AI for learning, not for cheating.

A big issue that we as Pakistanis in the education system face every day is the absolute refusal of our institutions to resist AI. Education institutions have failed to address the ethical violations AI has brought. Even educators seem to have embraced AI and use it to generate questions and prompts for exams, activities and assignments. They even use it to grade student submissions. The students, who seem to have decided that all their education will be useless amidst the futurist dreams of tech companies, now use AI to complete all their work, from assignments to exams.
AI is now a crutch for the upcoming generation. Pakistanis in the education field need to focus on the positive usage of AI and not view it as a replacement for our own efforts. If we continue this way, we will end up with a new generation that lacks the basic skills expected from the educated.
