LAHORE:The Public Relations Welfare Association held a meeting chaired by its Chairman, Dr Nadeem-ul-Hassan Gilani, to discuss the association’s objectives, professional challenges facing the public relations community and measures to strengthen the field.
The meeting reviewed the evolving demands of public relations professionals and discussed a range of proposals aimed at addressing emerging challenges and improving professional standards. A key decision taken during the meeting was to organise a special seminar for newcomers entering the public relations profession. The seminar will provide young PR professionals with an opportunity to interact directly with experienced practitioners and gain practical insight into the profession. The session will focus on professional development, workplace realities, emerging trends in public relations and the challenges confronting practitioners in an increasingly dynamic communications environment. Participants reaffirmed the association’s commitment to promoting the welfare of PR professionals while also creating opportunities for their professional growth, capacity building and skills development. President Public Relations Welfare Association Athar Hassan Awan and members of the Executive Committee attended the meeting.
