DERA ISMAIL KHAN: An engineer was abducted after armed men intercepted him and another person on their way to an under-construction building in Mughal Kot, robbing them of cash, mobile phones and other belongings.
According to details, Ahmad Iqbal, a resident of Karak, reported to Mughal Kot police that he and Engr Ejaz, a resident of Muryali, were travelling by motorcycle from Aman Mela Checkpost towards an under-construction building in Mughal Kot.
When they reached near Dubai Hotel on Zhob Road, three to four armed men carrying pistols and Kalashnikovs suddenly appeared and stopped them. He said that the assailants took Rs7,000 in cash and a mobile phone from him.
