Wasa intensifies action against illegal connections

LAHORE: A key meeting regarding revenue was held under the chairmanship of Wasa Vice Chairman and Wasa MD Ghufran Ahmed, wherein it was decided to make Wasa Lahore’s revenue recovery and financial stability more effective on a priority basis.

Deputy Managing Director (Finance & Revenue), Directors of Operations, Director of Revenue, and Deputy Directors participated in the meeting via video link. The Wasa Vice Chairman directed the Directors of Operations and the Director of Revenue to jointly streamline field operations to ensure revenue recovery targets are met.

MD Wasa directed the formation of special teams to take action against illegal connections and the imposition of heavy fines on violators. He also emphasised accelerating the process of field surveys and mapping for revenue recovery.
