ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has strengthened its presence in international sports governance with Pakistan Olympic Association (POA) President Arif Saeed elected to the Executive Board of the Islamic Solidarity Sports Association (ISSA) as Regional Representative for Asia and Europe for the 2026–2029 term.
Saeed’s election took place during the 15th ISSA General Assembly held in Taif, Saudi Arabia, where representatives of the association’s 57 member National Olympic Committees participated in the proceedings.
