ISLAMABAD: A minor fire incident occurred in the Administration Block of the Supreme Court on Frid ay evening, reportedly due to a short circuit.
According to sources, fire and rescue teams responded promptly and brought the situation fully under control. No loss of life, injury or damage to the building or official record was reported.
Sources said that as a precautionary measure, access to the affected area was temporarily restricted to rescue and technical personnel. It was learnt that the premises remained secure, while the relevant teams carried out ventilation and routine safety inspections to determine the precise cause of the incident and prevent any recurrence.
