Proposals sought for double-shift schools in KP

PESHAWAR: Relevant officials were directed on Wednesday to prepare recommendations for the establishment of new double-shift schools to ensure equal educational opportunities for all children.

The directives were issued during a meeting titled “Double Shift Schools in KP” held here, according to an official handout.The meeting was attended by the secretary of Elementary and Secondary Education, chief planning officer and others.

All district education officers (DEOs), male and female, from across KP joined the meeting virtually. The meeting reviewed requests from DEOs for the establishment of new double-shift schools. Participants discussed the importance of the double-shift system.
