ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF) has finalised the national women’s team for the 2026 Billie Jean King Cup, which is scheduled to be held in Islamabad in October.
The trials were conducted at the PTF Tennis Complex in Islamabad on September 7 and 8, with the federation completing the process after assessing the participating players. The five-member squad comprises Mahin Aftab Qureshi, Ushna Suhail, Romaisa Malik and Hajra Sohail, while Bismal Zia has been named as the reserve player. PTF President Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi and Secretary General Col. Zia-ud-Din Tufaif, along with the entire PTF management, congratulated the selected players and wished them success in the upcoming international competition.
