LAHORE: Pakistan batter Gull Feroza has been fined 10 per cent of her match fee and handed one demerit point after being found guilty of breaching the ICC Code of Conduct during her side’s Women’s Asia Cup Group A fixture against Hong Kong, China on Monday.

The breach occurred in the fifth over of Pakistan’s innings, when Gull was adjudged leg-before wicket. She showed dissent towards the umpire’s decision by gesturing to her bat, indicating she had made contact with the ball.

Match officials — on-field umpires Rabab Ahsan and Rokeya Sultana, third umpire Shivani Mishra, and fourth umpire Shathira Jakir — levelled the charge under Article 2.8.
