People are increasingly turning to AI for answers to the simplest questions, enquiries and everyday problems that previous generations would have solved through their own knowledge, reasoning, experience and common sense. Human intelligence grows when we struggle to find an answer, make mistakes and then try to learn from those experiences.
Excessive AI use is encouraging intellectual laziness, weakening independent thinking and creating a generation increasingly accustomed to receiving answers rather than discovering them.
